John Stuart

A volunteer for Noroton Fire Department, in 1971, he was captain of Truck 30, and in 1972 and 1973, he was Assistant Chief and Financial Secretary. Then in 1974 was elected 1st Assistant Chief and was elected Chief for 1975 - 1976. Many of the members will recall John's handwork creating a response map that resided in the truck bay between Engines 31 & 32 to assist responding fire fighters to the scene.
