CAR 300

Car 300 is a 2018 Chevy Tahoe purchased in 2017 with generous support from the Town of Darien Firefighters’ Foundation.  Car 300 primarily serves as a command vehicle and is typically driven by the Chief of the Department.  Equipped with a rear slide out tray that includes:

• Collapsible command and accountability tracking system
• Slide out whiteboard to manage resources
• Enclosed compartment for Chief’s Personal Protective Equipment
• Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC)
• Radios, 4 Gas Meter, SCBA, Fire Extinguishers, and forcible entry tools
